How Zenflo Calculates Prices

Every number in the Zenflo Price Guides is computed from real, itemised service menus published on Zenflo business listings — currently 8,182 individual service prices. Nothing is estimated, surveyed, or generated.

Where the prices come from

Businesses listed on Zenflo publish their service menus with per-service prices — for example "Women's cut & blow dry — $95". We aggregate those line items, not advertised "from" prices or package deals.

How each guide is built

Services are matched to a guide (say, remedial massage) by their menu name. We exclude packages, combos, add-ons and consultations, and apply a plausibility band per service type so data-entry errors don't distort the statistics.

Why we quote the median

The headline figure on every guide is the median — the middle price — because one $900 outlier shouldn't move the number you'll actually pay. The "typical range" is the 25th to 75th percentile: the middle half of all listed prices.

Sample-size honesty

Every guide states how many prices and businesses it draws from. Guides with fewer than 30 listed prices are excluded from search engines until enough data exists to be representative. Suburb breakdowns require at least 3 prices per suburb.

Freshness

Statistics recompute automatically as businesses add or update their menus, at most 24 hours behind the live listings. Each guide shows its last-updated date.
